Description

Exir Broadcasting provides you with everything you need to build truly flexible broadcasting systems. We offer both standard and customized patch panels with standard or Quick Release U-links. With integrated power splitters or only the patch panel that will make your job both faster and easier without compromising system reliability.

Patch panels are used to switch the signal flow between different transmitters, antenna halves and station loads. Exir Broadcasting offers patch panels with various numbers of ports, and in most types and dimensions. A number of standard models are available as listed below, but normally units are unique and designed according to customer specifications. The panels are constructed with sturdy frames for mounting either on the floor, on combiner units, on the wall or in a rack. Available with directional couplers and micro switch (interlock).

TYPICAL PERFORMANCE OF PATCH PANEL

  • POWER RATING: As per our power rating diagram (see Rigid Line)
  • IMPEDANCE: 50 Ohm
  • VSWR: <1.05 (<32 dB)
  • INSERTION LOSS: <0.1 dB
  • ISOLATION, ANY PORT: >70 dB
  • OPERATING TEMPERATURE: -10 °C to 50 °C
  • CONFIGURATION: Manually operated patch panel. Contains U-link, connecting kits (incl. clamps).
  • INTERLOCKS: 2 x micro switches/position (other on request). Micro switches wired to a terminal block fixed on the backside of the panel.

U-LINK PATCH PANELS. All versions are available with interlocking on request. Customised versions on request.
