Phoenix Venus 3

The Phoenix Venus 3 is two audiocodecs in one unit, meaning it is capable of establishing two simultaneous, bidirectional calls with different formats and quality to one or two different locations. It includes the option of an adaptive buffer in order to absorb network jitter, DHCP allowing the automatic configuration of IP Network parameters, FEC and automatic reference clock adjustment in order to synchronize both extremes of communication.

The Venus has balanced analogue Audio Inputs and Outputs through XLR connectors as well as digital audio AES/EBU I/O’s, along with dual power supplies. It is delivered readily registered in order to freely use the services of the AEQ SIP Server.

The unit comes with dual power supplies for mission critical applications and includes GPIO, Dante AOIP and a wide range of encoding algorithms including OPUS.

The Control Phoenix software allows the control and management of Phoenix Studio, Phoenix Mercury and Phoenix Venus audiocodecs.

• Silent operation: This device is cooled by natural convection, in order to be suitable for Studio installations. No fans are installed
