Wilcannia River Radio select Solidyne DX816

Broadcast Components was pleased to work with Brendon Adams, team leader at Wilcannia River Radio in upgrading their mixing console.

The station were offered a few options, however ultimately decided to go with the Solidyne DX816, due to it’s excellent capacity. The DX816 has 5 Microphones with line inputs and USB, includes a standard phone hybrid and a Bluetooth line, as well as two output buses for easy recording.

To compliment Wilcannia’s new desk, Broadcast Components also supplied 5 new Rode Procaster microphones, along with their accessories (PSA1 boom arm, PSM1 shock mount, WS2 wind sock, XLR audio cables).

Wilcannia River Radio is a community radio station, funded by REDI.E (Regional Enterprises Development Institute). The equipment was met with great enthusiasm and appreciation. The staff enjoyed installing the equipment, wasting no time.
