Wilcannia River Radio select Solidyne DX816

Broadcast Components was pleased to work with Brendon Adams, team leader at Wilcannia River Radio in upgrading their mixing console.

The station were offered a few options, however ultimately decided to go with the Solidyne DX816, due to it’s excellent capacity. The DX816 has 5 Microphones with line inputs and USB, includes a standard phone hybrid and a Bluetooth line, as well as two output buses for easy recording.

To compliment Wilcannia’s new desk, Broadcast Components also supplied 5 new Rode Procaster microphones, along with their accessories (PSA1 boom arm, PSM1 shock mount, WS2 wind sock, XLR audio cables).

Wilcannia River Radio is a community radio station, funded by REDI.E (Regional Enterprises Development Institute). The equipment was met with great enthusiasm and appreciation. The staff enjoyed installing the equipment, wasting no time.

We couldn’t wait to test them out” Wilcannia River Radio DJ E.K said.
