Ultra 1065 Intsalls 5kW Transmitter through Broadcast Components

Peter Krause is delighted with the performance of the new 5 kilowatt transmitter

After meeting with Sean at the CMAA conference in 2016, Peter was looking forward to working with Broadcast Components on future station developments. Nathan Brown (CMAA Chief Executive Officer) was pleased to recommend Broadcast Components as a supplier for their high power transmitter uprgade, and organise installation through Jim Parish. After installaiton Peter reported improved audio quality with wider reception and kindly provided the feedback below!

The unit installed was a 5kW transmitter using BW Broadcast dual exciters. The system offers no single point of failure with multiple power supplies, power amplifier modules and exciters to maximise signal continuity.
