Tank FM (Macleay Valley Community Radio) move studios!

Macleay Valley Community Radio Station, better known as Tank FM, is the only radio station based in Kempsey, NSW.

Tank FM initially approached Wireless Components whilst looking for a mixing desk for their new studio as they transition from their home in the Tank to a brand new facility in town. A collaborative community effort, their new premises boasts two studios, office space and tech space. Wireless Components worked closely with Ross Delaforce (Project Manager) and the board from Tank FM, who attended the Wireless Components office in Sydney for a live demonstration of the AEQ Forum Dante Audio over IP and Capitol. Tank FM were then provided a AEQ Forum to trial for a period of time to see if it was the right fit for their station.

Tank FM decided to purchase the AEQ Forum and a Netbox 32 for their new studio, and are excited to equip their second studio this year.

Presenters at Tank FM are currently undergoing training for the new equipment and Wireless Components look forward to celebrating their grand opening at their new address, 59 Elbow St, West Kempsey at the end of this month.

Follow their studio opening and progress on facebook.
