RVR transmitters for EMFM, Plenty Valley & TEABBA

Broadcast Components is your national dealer for RVR. We also offer local support and after sales service. RVR Elettronica this year celebrates 40 years in the industry. They are well known for their FM transmitters and offer quality at a very attractive price.

RVR’s TEX low power FM Transmitter range is ideal as use as exciters in compact and modular system or as an all-in-one low power transmitter. This range is available in 30, 50, 100, 150 and 300W. Check them out here.

The TEX higher power transmitters range from 500 – 3500W, with each unit being adjustable from 10-100%, adding both verstatility and convenience. Check them out here.

Broadcast Components were approached by Plenty Valley Communicty Radio to upgrade their transmission equipment. Backup transmission with auto changeover was essential as they are a Victorian Government mandated “Emergency Broadcaster”.
Broadcast Components were pleased to work with Plenty Valley by supplying:

  • TEX30LCD/S – 30W exciter
  • PJ502C-LCD – 500W power Amplifier
  • SCML1+1SL/V1 – changeover
  • DLCP-500W – 500W dummyload
  • RF cabling
  • Site Sentinal – remote site monitoring

“We decided to use RVR again, as our existing RVR Transmission equipment has been reliable, and we felt it would be a relatively easy fit into our existing transmission infrastructure. Sean from Broadcast Components was very helpful throughout the process of ordering / delivery and back room support.
We now have a complete Transmission system with full remote monitoring and control of the transmission site via a computer or smartphone.” Brian King, Plenty Valley’s Technical Co-ordinator.

Treasurer, John Vincent from Echuca Moama Community Radio, also known as EMFM,  chatted with Broadcast Components at the 2018 CBAA conference. Broadcast Components were able to supply a TEX1002LCD transmitter which suited the station’s requirements and budget.
