Broadcast Components was pleased to be involved in the planning and installation of a new studio transmitter link (STL), audio processor and FM transmitter.
The existing link infrastructure was in need of replacement, and the transmission location was moved to a higher point in Sydney. Due to the limited bandwidth in the licensed 850MHz spectrum, Northside Radio was interested in a higher frequency solution for the short hop from their studios to the new site in Chatswood. Broadcast Components offered a Ubiquiti 5GHz solution including AEQ Audio Codecs for the link and a BW Broadcast audio processor and V2 Transmitter.
