2NBC select AEQ Capitol IP with Dante

Broadcast Components were happy to help the team at 2NBC Peakhurst select new desks for their station.

Broadcast Components helped station manager, Paul McGrath, to submit a  grant application for the stations new premises in Kogarah, which they were successful in receiving.

The State Government‚ “Community Building Partnership” grant supported the installation of two AEQ Capitol IP desks, complete with Dante, dual line hybrids, virtual software and complete cabling solution.

To finish off the studio they also chose:

  • AEQ netbox 8
  • HB-02‘s – a flushmount connector for microphone and headset making controls simple for both presenters and guests
  • Headpod’s – headphone amplifier

The installation was lead by technician Darryl Smith.

2NBC offically opened their new premises in Kogarah March 2018.
